- Childhood Disintegrative Disorder (CDD)
- Pervasive Developmental Disorder Not Otherwise Specified (PDD-NOS)
- To be diagnosed with ASD, individuals will have impairment in a triad of areas. Social, Language/Communication and Thought/Behavior.
- Autism Spectrum Disorders affect how a person learns to understand, uses communication, interacts with people and the environment
- Each individual with ASD is unique and can vary according to intellectual ability and age.
- Individuals may have an IQ from the below average range to the typical range, with some individuals having an above average IQ.
