It is important to remember that each student, each school and each teacher is a unique combination. Diet
Diet is an area of discussion with Autism Spectrum Disorders that often has conflicting advice and theories. Some may claim that diet will "cure" ASD. These types of claims should be treated with caution. It is important to consider if diet interventions are suitable to the individual with an ASD. Some individuals have benefited by diet intervention and some have not, therefore diet intervention should not be seen as a guarenteed ASD treatment. Families and individuals should also be aware that sometimes exclusive supplements are part of treatments which can significantly add to the cost of diet interventions. The following articles and links have been provided as reference only and are not endorsed or recommended by the ASD Case Consultant Practitioner or Community Living & Respite Services Inc.
