A variety of formal assessment tools may be used to determine an ASD diagnosis. This following list of assessment tools is hyperlinked to a relevant website. These websites are only a small representation of available information and is not a conclusive list. You may like to use a search function to find further information about training, definitions and purchasing assessment tools. A search that contains the word "sample" may give you examples of a completed assessment for reference and understanding.

Bendigo Early Diagnosis Autism Assessment & Referral Services (BEARS Clinic)

This is a new service being offered at Bendigo Community Health that provides a multidisciplinary assessment to children and youth with developmental concerns, specialising in Autism Spectum Disorders. The aim of this new clinic is to provide a diagnostic assessment & report in less than 10 weeks from the initial referral.

La Trobe University : The Early Diagnostic Clinic for Autism Spectrum Disorders

The Early Diagnostic Clinic at La Trobe Unversity Bundoora, specialises in early assessment for Autism Spectrum Disorders in children up to 36 months. This services offers a greatly reduced fee due to a grant from R.E Ross Trust. Referrals are welcome from community-based early childhood and health professionals throughout Victoria.
